Students must complete 30 credits of coursework during the program and pass all the course requirements. In addition, students must attain a graduation grade average (GGA) of 2.850 or above (out of a scale of 4.30) as required of all postgraduate students at HKUST.
On successful completion of the program, students will receive the "Master of Science in Information and Cyber Security Management" degree from HKUST.
Conferment of Awards
The University confers academic awards twice a year, once in May/June and once in November. The official diploma is issued only after conferment of the awards.
Congregation
The Congregation is the formal graduation ceremony at which students are conferred their awards by the Chancellor or other officers of the University as stipulated in the University Statutes. This graduation ceremony is held in the Fall Term of each year at a time and place determined by the University.
Attendance at the Congregation is NOT compulsory. The award will be conferred in absentia to those graduates who are not present at the ceremony.
